Here is an example of educational materials I have worked on. Youtube video, in which I talk about the common misconception that soil can filter all manure-borne pathogens and prevent them from reaching groundwater. I try to dispel this myth and proof that some pathogenic bacteria can migrate hundreds of meters and survive months in soil/water systems. In this video, I mentioned about my idea to reduce pathogen transport thought soil using biochar.
Mobile Pyrolysis units demo.
I participated in a technical evaluation of biochar quality of two different mobile pyrolysis units developed by Amaron Energy and Western Renewable Technologies during a pyrolysis demonstration held in Bingen, Washington. This demstration was supported by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources.
